Design Strategy
I was not required to design documents for this assignment and the one below but I did because I believe design enhances the projects and makes them more engaging and more professional. For the Social Media Strategic Analysis cover, I chose a cobalt blue, gray and white. The blue is attractive without being overpowering and can be associated with confidence, security, and calm.
I also added eye-catching circles to the cover, including one with a colorful photo of a cell phone with social media icons. I also used the cobalt blue in boxes that contain page numbers and for the document name at the top of each page.
I included description headings and subheadings for easy navigation, as well as logos and social media photos from each university that was analyzed. This also helped add visual interest and break up the document’s text. I chose sans serif fonts, Canva Sans, for the headings and Codec Pro for the content, because they complement the report’s clean, uncluttered look.
NOTE: Because these links are not available in the proposal above, I’m including them here: Two Weeks of Social Media Posts | UA Little Rock Graduate School Content Calendar.
Design Strategy
For the Social Media Strategy Proposal cover for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Graduate School, I used the school’s signature maroon color from the brand guide. I accented the maroon with gray and white to create an appealing design. I added attention-grabbing circles along with a photo of someone scrolling through social media on a phone. I also used the maroon in boxes that contain pages numbers and for the document name at the top of each page in the report.
I included description headings and subheadings for easy navigation, as well as UA Little Rock logos and photos to add visual interest and break up the text. I chose sans serif fonts, Canva Sans, for the headings and Codec Pro for the content, because they both pair well with the document’s clean, uncluttered look.
